ALMA, Lotto Boyz, Rina Sawayama, Pale Waves are set to perform on the VEVO stage at the Great Escape

ALMA, Lotto Boyz, Rina Sawayama, Pale Waves are just some of the names announced to perform on the VEVO stage this year at the Great Escape.

The Great Escape, will take over Brighton’s Wagner Hall venue for two nights on the 17th and 18th May. 2018 marks Vevo’s sixth year curating its legendary stage at Europe’s biggest festival for new music, which continues showcase the brightest and best emerging and unsigned acts, shoulder-to-shoulder with established talent.

 Emo-pop Pale Waves will be taking to the stage alongside Italian art-rock trio Husky Loops and Dermot Kennedy, who has amassed over 200 million streams so far and sold out shows around the globe.

 Thursday’s line up will also include hotly-tipped rapper Izzie Gibbs, and Finnish pop sensation ALMA who is set to thrill the crowd with a performance as vibrant as her neon green hair.

Friday’s line-up boasts Netherlands-based prodigy bülow, the critically acclaimed Rina Sawayama, rising R&B star Mahalia and East London rapper Kojey Radical. Birmingham afro-bashment duo Lotto Boyzz will also play the Vevo stage and the viral ‘No Don’ hitmakers promise an unforgettable show as they bring the two days of festivities to an epic close.

Vevo has created some unforgettable music moments at its stage at The Great Escape for the past six years now, showcasing the most prominent soon-to-be success stories.

Notably, Iggy Azalea made her first ever UK festival appearance on the Vevo stage back in 2013, whilst last year saw the likes of Stefflon Don, Sigrid, Rejjie Snow and RAYE take to the stage. Previous years have also seen sets from names including Craig DavidBlossoms and George Ezra.
