Former Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore signs contract to remain with Dallas Cowboys

Former Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore, who's name was linked as a potential candidate for the vacant Broncos head coach position, won't be returning to BSU anytime soon.

He's currently the offensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys but was rumored to be considering being BSU's new head coach.

But, rumors will now be put to rest as Moore just signed a multi-year contract extension to remain with the Cowboys.

"I will no longer be pursuing the head coaching job at Boise State," Moore said in a statement on the Dallas Cowboys website. "I love Boise State. I will always root for them, and I hope one day to be part of the program again."

Kellen Moore won 50 games as a quarterback for Boise State from 2008 to 2011 and is considered one of the greatest players in BSU history.
